Since the registration fee is almost nominal, I wonder if the Board would consider granting free registration to presenters even if they intend to attend sessions?  There aren't all that many presenters, and the fee is low:  Therefore, the total dollar amount at stake is small.  For that small amount of money, we will gain a great deal of good will from our presenters. And a greater likelihood that people will want to be presenters this year and in the future.

Just a suggestion from your ex officio Board colleague.

HI Jean,

I think this is what was done last year:

1) Presenters who are only there because they are presenting are not charged the registration fee. I can't remember for certain if we made them pay for lunch. Does anyone else?

2) Presenters who are also planning to reap the full benefits of the conference (i.e., attending other sessions) were charged the registration fee.

Does this seem reasonable still to everyone? What does PACRAO do? Is there a reduced registration fee for presenter-attendees? Of course, our registration fee is pretty nominal to begin with.

Questions for y'all.

Those who are presenting-do they need to register and if so, is the fee enforced or waived?  If waived, are their meals/snacks included?

Sorry I can't remember these details from last year or from earlier discussions but given the time of year I barely remember my name!!!
