I agree--or would even posit making it nonrefundable.   I don't think anyone would think that the fee would be refundable--if you don't know if you can go, you don't sign up until you know.  Plus, it's not like it's $700.  Last, many institutions would just send someone else if a registrant couldn't go.

My opinion: no refunds after the April 1.  It would be only for those folks who register early.

I don't want to be in a position where we have to consider refund appeals.  I would think, though, if we list the fee as being non-refundable after May 1st, people would only ask for a refund for the most compelling of reasons.  Todd, I haven't heard from anyone objecting to the idea of the fee being non-refundable after May 1st.  Could you add that to the form?

I like that idea.  That will encourage folks to register who really feel they can make the commitment.  

It would be nice to have an understanding on our part, that if a participant has a work/family emergency, that we consider a refund for them if they request it.

Good morning.  It was great to see you and/or hear you last Friday.   This is an amazing group to work with this year, again, and I am very much enjoying your energy, talent, and expertise with putting together this year's program.  Madam Virjean, thank you for doing such a great job at moving us forward while keeping us laughing through the experience.

Attached, please find the beginning of the session information that I cobbled together from our meeting last Friday.  BTW, the images of the white board were very helpful, Todd, as my notes, as usual, were indecipherable at various points.  

Here is where I need your help.  I have identified certain questions in red.  If any of you can give me additional detail about a person in red - what institution and who had said they would be the contact person - this would be helpful.  Also, I had attempted to identify one of us who could take responsibility for pulling the session together, e.g., identify a facilitator and communicate our thoughts and ideas about the session.  Once all of the facilitators, presenters, panel members are on board, I can take over from that point with the herding cats and session details processes.  

If you had indicated you are one of the members who volunteered to pull a session together, please let me know so I can add you to the information.

Liz, great job on the Registration Form.  I have two suggestions as follows.

§         Could we place the words "Registration Form" somewhere at the top?

§         Can we add something about the WaACRAO website such as....For specific conference details please see the WaACRAO website at http://waacrao.org/default.aspx

My two cents.

One more question.....I left my notes at home.  Can one of you tell me what date and time we agreed upon for our next meeting?  I will schedule a room here at North again.
