[Eng1508] Class today

Dear Class,

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to miss class today - my oldest is home sick with a stomach bug so I'm spending lots of fun time in the bathroom with him:)
I am reminded of the poem Bill handed out the first day of class about attendance and I feel sure that tonight all will grind to a halt without me there and I won't miss anything - right?
Seriously, I'm sorry to miss such an important session and I look forward to the class logs and our online discussion this weekend so that I can become a fully participating stakeholder in this process.
A logistical question that many of you may also be thinking: As we have agreed that one vital piece of information to be recorded from the student bluebooks is what their five most important classes are, what do we do with the majority of the answers that list no course number or even title?  Are we to become experts in the undergraduate catalog at WSU?
